Apartment Living

Ok, here is a blog that does not require a picture, but is quite amusing I think. We are really enjoying our apartment. We chose to be in an apartment for now while we get situated and save some money. It may not sound like the ideal situation. Sure, we would love to have our own space, a garage close by, storage, our own yard, etc. Yet, we like many things about our place here. The location is really fun....we are super close to pretty much everything Wilsonville has to offer. Blocks from the library, our own Ballys fitness center, a really big beautiful park, grocery store (an expensive one though) Starbucks, etc. Kinda our own little small town close to the big city. The complex' play structure is right outside our back door, so it is almost like having our own back yard (except that the playground came with its very own playground bully named Roger....he and his buddy came to the door yesterday offering to wash my car. Fortunately "my car" was with Chris at work, so I had an excuse. It was awfully nice of them except that they had a bucket full of sidewalk chalk that they were kindly offering to "decorate" the car with after they washed it. How sweet!)
Anyways, the whole point of my blog is to share the most amusing aspect of apartment living. Not only does my sweet husband occasionally snore, but whoever lives on the other side of our bedroom wall also snores.....really loud. Not loud enough that we can't sleep, but it must be pretty loud on their end for us to be able to hear it as we fall asleep. We go to sleep chuckling.
