A Few Pics and 25 Random Things

So Grace, the first picture is for you and your buddies from Rush. Beck loves the onesie and even drooled on it! (he fills it out quite nicely don't ya think? Check out that tummy!) The next two are my attempts at getting some group shots even though we all have the sniffles and are not looking or feeling our best!
Then I decided to post my "25 Random Facts" that I posted on facebook. I figured I might as well since I spent all that silly time on it :)

25 Random Facts

#1. I have a horrible memory of events in my life. I can't ever remember the ages I was when important things happened in my life. Maybe it's because I was homeschooled? I didn't have a different teacher for every grade, thus I don't have a reference point for "what happened in 3rd grade"? hmmmm. Mrs. Cartwright was a fabulous teacher by the way :) Now that I think about it though, I have home schooled friends who remember EVERYTHING. I guess it is just me :(

#2. I sucked my thumb for a very long time, only I can't remember how long cuz of the darn memory problem.

#3. We have no idea "how many kids we want to have" yet. I would love to adopt a couple kids. We'll see about that one though. Three kids seems like plenty right now!

#4. I am now a fan (through marriage) of all the Minnesota sports teams.

#5. I am using cloth diapers with Beckham (don't call me crazy....I am really loving it!)

#6. I have a horrible sense of direction, but think it has improved since moving to Portland.

#7. I am loving homeschooling Bethany so far. It is not always easy, but I love having her home with me!

#8. I now have a basement with a wet bar....it will likely be used as a "homeschooling bar":)

#9. I avoid driving in even the smallest dusting of snow.

#10. I HATE being cold. I opened the freezer at Costco the other day and about turned into an icicle.

#11. I am not a morning person, but these days, can't make it very late at night either.

#12. I was finally given a child who seems to enjoy sleeping. Although the other night Beck did wake up at 2 only cause he had a stuffy nose.

#13. I have only been to two other countries and would love to travel to more.....the warmer the place the better.

#14. I love decorating for holidays, and now have a daughter who does as well. And I thought I was eager.....

#15. I have never been on a real roller coaster :(

#16. I have fainted several times. The first when I had my blood taken when I was younger (notice I don't know how old I was. Mom?) before I has my tonsils removed. The last time was last year when I had the flu.

#17. I am not a big fan of feet. You won't see me offering foot massages. I think Chris has maybe had two from me in the last 7 years.

#18. I love gardening and look forward to the day I can have a huge vegetable garden.

#19. I was the leader of a 4-H Entomology club in high school. I caught, killed, pinned and displayed hundreds of insects, could tell you all the insect orders and won multiple county and state ribbons on my displays. Yes, I was (and still am) a geek. And proud of it.

#20. On the more, um, domestic side, I also won Grand Champion in the 4-H Fashion Revue where I sewed and modeled many outfits.

#21. I love being the big sis to my 3 wonderful siblings. Hopefully I wasn't too bossy of a big sister :)

#22. Chris was my first "boyfriend", first kiss, and is my wonderful and forever husband.

#23. I delivered my first two babies without "pain management" and with Beckham I did have the epidural. I preferred it natural.

#24. I wanted to be a librarian when I grew up.

#25. I am now all grown up (will be 30 this year!!! Yikes!) and have the most wonderful job in the world!!!
